They’re extremely crude, hand-drawn representations of humans in living form. Their creation was an accident, but now they live in a flourishing society and their own culture.
Origins and history
Accidentally created by the Arcanian of Creativity, stick figures where brought about when a crude drawing of them fell to Earth on the continent of North America and came to life. They ended up developing their own primitive society, before managing to develop some slightly more complicated technology than the humans of the time. They have kept ahead of the curb like that for a long time.
When Cristopher Columbus first “discovered” North America, he didn’t ever meet any stick figures. However, as more humans and anthrians immigrated over to this “brand new” land, they ended up meeting quite a bit. The colonists, admiring the stick figure’s rather developed civilization, never really got into too much conflict with them. They mostly kept a hands off attitude, and the stick figures liked it that way.
In the modern day, the majority of them live in Stickcity, the city they built for themselves. Many also live in the small town and suburbs surrounding Stickcity. Although some stick figures live outside of Stickcity, those are in the minority. It’s even rarer to spot a stick figure in Europe.
